- Define your “who.” Create categories of friends, allies and acquaintances. Pay special attention to your “who” friends. These are the people who came into your life for a reason. They may be old college buddies, former work mates or people you know from your neighborhood or community involvement.
- List your goals. Write down 40 things you want to achieve in life. These can be big or small goals. Do you want to win a big promotion? Do you want to run a marathon?
- Connect the dots. Now, match up your goals with the people you know. Chances are, you’ll make these connections among your “who” friends.
Don’t let anything stand in your way to achieve success. If you haven’t spoken to someone on your list in a long while, just acknowledge it and move forward. According to Bob, 87 percent of all deals are done through friend networks. Your friends, acquaintances and allies want to help people they know and like. Use that to your advantage!
